   Polyacrylamide is organic polymer flocculant, of which the molecular weight is relatively high, generally in the millions and tens of millions. At the beginning, it will swell when disssovled, and then slowly dissolve. If use artificial feeding way, a one-time cast into the water with large polyacrylamide amount , but not homogeneous and slowly adding it, polyacrylamide will first contact the part of the water, then begin to swell, and its surface area increase, then the wrap is not exposed to water (remove part of the floc peels to have a look at, the middle is dry, without water ), so it has formed some polyacrylamide groups that are not dissolved. At present, the majority of the sewage treatment plant generally use manual dosing (if we switch to automatic feeding machine dosing, it is not only to save manpower, and can maximize efforts to avoid this problem). We are recommended dosing first when the water is stirred up, and then in the above water inlet out of the slow uniform feeding, let agent along the water into the water, so the agglomerate probability can be reduced , also in the cast time as far as possible to avoid contact with the inner wall of reagent and the dissolving tank.

   Suggestion:Under possible conditions, use automatic and continuous feeding system, to improve the work efficiency but also can avoid agglomeration of dosing. In addition, the polyacrylamide quality on the market are uneven. Some products quality defect, and those are are not good hydrophilic products, containing more insoluble matter, having poor solubility and easy to agglomerate in dosing.
