Basic aluminum chloride (BAC) is a kind of inorganic polymer and coagulant electrolyte, as an intermediate between the hydrolysis products of aluminum chloride and aluminum hydroxide. The product is the black and its chemical formula is [Al2 (OH) nCI6-n].

   Basic aluminum chloride as a coagulant has the following advantages: It has a unique efficiency in the treatment of papermaking, printing and dyeing wastewater. Its fast floc formation and high sedimentation rate can shorten the reaction time that be precipitated. In appropriate conditions, it improves production capacity of 1.5-3 times. Its applications range from water purification to wastewater treatment and other industries such as casting, light industry, medicine, machinery and so on. Production of raw materials and process development is also various. Under the basic aluminium chloride coagulant consumption of water hardness, the dosage is less than inorganic coagulant and pH value of processing water also decreases less. When dealing with water, especially in the treatment of high concentration of water, it can be with or without addition of alkaline agent and coagulant aid, the decolorization capacity is prior to other inorganic purifying agents.

   Method of use: solid products should be dissolved in water after the addition, the dilution ratio is generally: 2%--20% (weight percentage); dosage is generally: solid product 10---15 grams / ton; specific dosage by the user to determine the amount of actual test results.

   Package, storage and the matters need attentions: double sealing packaging for this product, the inner layer uses non-toxic polyethylene plastic bag, outer is plastic woven bag. Net weight of each bag is 25kg, stored for a period of two years. This product is easy to moisture absorption, but had no effect on moisture after use. Recommended store is in dry, damp proof, good ventilation, to avoid the heat. This product and may not be toxic, harmful substances mixed transport of reservoir.
